ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Séréna Alizé.
Hi, I’m Séréna Alizé. A pole artist, performer, and founder of La Chrome Barre in Montréal. Born and raised in Tokyo, I grew up in the world of ballet and gymnastics, disciplines rooted in precision and control.
Everything changed when I slipped on my first pair of heels and discovered chair and heels dancing. For the first time, movement felt authentic, feminine, and deeply mine. I spent over five years exploring this form of expression in Tokyo, falling in love with the power of embodying my femininity through dance.
After moving to Montreal, I discovered something even more raw and transformative: pole dancing. It wasn’t just movement - it was liberation. A way to reclaim my sensuality and move for myself.
With over 7 years of dancing on the metallic bar, I’ve taught across Canada, performed internationally, and earned recognition in multiple competitions, including:
🥇 1st Place — Pole Sports Org Championship (2021)
🥇 1st Place — Pole Masters Championship (‘24)
🥉 3rd Place — Skripped Down Sensual Professional (‘24)
✨ Finalist — Exotic Generation Japan - OS Professional (‘25)
In 2023, I founded La Chrome Barre as a sanctuary for self-expression, born from my desire for a small, intimate training space where creative and sensual dancing could be freely explored.
A private, judgement-free haven where you can embrace your craft and honour your body. At Chrome, we honour the art of movement, the roots of pole, and every body’s right to feel powerful, free, and undeniably desirable, first and foremost, for themselves.
